After a period of calm in Bridgeworld, the emergence of the Harvesters Lupus Magus and Afarit was celebrated with much fanfare by the Legion. Unfortunately, increased MAGIC emissions came with it the side effects of corruption.
Welcome to the next phase of Bridgeworld moonboiz!
Quite a few sections to cover but this will mostly cover:
What is Corruption?
From a player’s perspective, corruption serves as a deterrent or variable towards PvE and PvP gameplay. If left unchecked, it will get in the way of everything you do (deterrent / negative RNG to gameplay – be it quest, craft, or the venerable harvester plays).
Economics / Strategy-wise, corruption serves as a deflationary mechanism on existing Bridgeworld assets – something which has been long requested by the community.
For those that have stacked heaps of Legion crafters, consumables, and treasure assets, you will be favored in the upcoming play (at the expense of the less prepared!).
TLDR
- Try to keep corruption below 200k for the Ivory Tower, The Forge, and Harvesters – higher than that is annoying and 500k+ is poison. (Global effect – affects all participants)
- Burn consumables/risk burning treasures to stave corruption. Be socially responsible.
- Corruption crypts / purging corruption may drop Malevolent Prisms (Soulbound) but can be crafted into Corruption (tradeable).
- Lob corruption at opposing harvesters to slow their $MAGIC emissions!

Corruption’s Impact on BW (Craft & Harvesters)
This stuff is like DOTA 2 Batrider goo on that shinEEEEE Forge / Harvester.
Stack enough of it and you will be absolutely trashed above certain corruption thresholds.
Clumsy hands become clumsier than ever on crafting and even Harvesters get less mining power boosts.
Corruption Threshold | Crafting Break Rates (Additive) | Harvester Mining Power Boosts |
0-100,000 | Nothing | 100% |
Above 100,000 | Nothing | 90% |
Above 200,000 | +2% | 80% |
Above 300,000 | +4% | 70% |
Above 400,000 | +6% | 60% |
Above 500,000 | +8% | 50% |
600,000+ | +10% | 40% |
Corruption’s Impact on BW (Questing)
In case you had thought corruption was bad for Craft/Harvesters, getting a whiff of this on questoors will leave you with Over-drive compulsion on keeping that Ivory Tower squeaky clean for questing!
It’s like mowing your lawn…you leave it to fester and soon snakes and raccoons amongst other nasties start hanging in your backyard…
Corruption Threshold | Treasure Fragment Drop % (Additive) | Quest & Stasis Time (both) | Triad Corruption Cards appearance |
0-100,000 | +10% | ||
Above 100,000 | Nothing | +1 hour

How to Purge Corruption?
Shoo shoo! Gets it away from us!
Below are the various formulas (two for each structure) to rid the dirt and keep the Bridgeworld pristine clean.
Note: Harvester cleansing recipe 2 burns a whopping 9 crafts in total (basically 9.5 days worth of craft!)
MAGIC Cost | Materials 1 | Materials 2 | Corruption change
Ivory Tower & Forge (Recipe 1) | 2 | 2x T2 Treasures | 1x Prism (any size) | -4000 |
Ivory Tower & Forge (Recipe 2) | 2 | 1x T1 Treasure | 1x Prism (any size) | -4000 |
Harvester (Recipe 1) | 0 | 1x Balancer Crystal | 1x Harvester Part | -8000 |
Harvester (Recipe 2) | 0 | 1x Harvester Part | 5x Prism (Small) 2x Prism (Medium) 1x Prism (Large) | -8000 |
Rewards for Purging Corruption
Apparently, purging corruption allows you to harness potentially parts of it for crafting.
If the RNG BW-gods favor you, you can be gifted with Malevolent Prisms (Soul-bound) which can be turned in for crafting of corruption. Roll tables depend on the severity of corruption & rarity of consumables burned.
Should you obtain a Malevolent Prism, you can craft it at Corruption Crypts & either use or sell said Corruption on Trove.
